Orcs don’t belong in space, but for Deckherd, it was his only path to freedom. He shouldn’t have gassed the salvage-rig thrusters so hard. The resulting crash, leaking oxygen and floating blood were probably bad signs. But when he’d discovered a ship hidden amongst the debris of an ancient space-battle, he couldn’t resist. He’ll pay for his excitement with his life, unless he can get this airlock— With the speed of advanced, and surprisingly functional, tech, the outer airlock door flashed open. Not allowing himself to think, he pulled himself inside, sobbing with relief as the airlock closed and pressurized. A metallic, feminine voice spoke as he struggled to remove his damaged suit. “Greetings unregistered humanoid.
