Babylon's Fall

Lily is lying to a lot of people — herself included.  University was supposed to be simple: friends, tequila, and maybe the occasional bad decision. Then a demon tears through a nightclub full of partying students, leaving blood on the dance floor and a city in search of a scapegoat. Only the killings don't stop. And secrets have a way of coming out. What to Expect: Plot: Crime, politics, conspiracies, supernatural factions at each other’s throats, and a group of emotionally repressed college kids whose main skills are finding trouble, avoiding therapy, and drinking through the consequences.  Characters: People have flaws. You will want to scream at your screen sometimes. I know I did. POVs: Multiple POVs will offer you the chance to be mad at several people all at once.  Romance: Yes. There will be some of it. If the thought of feelings leaves you itchy, this might not be the story for you. Content warning: Sex, drugs, and Rock n’ Roll: Young people growing up around a city drowning in sex and violence will swear. A lot. There will also be alcohol, drugs, and the occasional sexy time. Violence: The story starts off innocently enough, but escalates after the first chapters and will keep escalating. Since there are supernatural powers involved, the level of brutality will reflect that. You might find the occasional medical term, but I’m not striving for anatomical accuracy here (If John Wick can survive getting shot multiple times and falling off a roof, so can a shifter.) Babylon City isn’t a pleasant place. Topics like prostitution, abuse, and domestic violence will be breached. Update Schedule: 5-7 Chapters a week Cover: AI. Sorry.
