[Comedy focused Story adjacent to “The wandering Inn, but more fast paced] Who’s this story for system? [Good Question, Greg. I’d probably say it’s for those who like a good underdog story, with earned progression through repeated failure. Some call it “character building”] So in other words, I won’t be OP? [More like, you’ll become competent… with time] But I’ll be OP eventually, right? […] …right. Onto the blurb then I guess. Book 1 blurb: ------In a world… Screw that noise. Hi, name’s Greg. I run a Safezone. Why? Because some system bricked my phone and dropped a portal door into my living room. Unlike most video-games and/or comics, I received ZERO combat abilities. Bullshit [That’s not true, Greg.] Fine. I can level, hire, and build stuff… I just have to pay for everything. [And?] And the “Safe” part of Safezone is more of a suggestion. [No.] And the bank’s trying to seize my house because I missed the fine print? […] Look, the point is, adventurers keep showing up, breaking my stuff, and somehow this is now my job. A litRPG with a heavy focus on comedy, slice of life, and money-based progression. Follow Greg as he tries to run a business, survive bad decisions, and maybe not go broke in the process. Book 2 blurb: “In a world…” Nope. Not doing that sh*t again. My Safezone was established, sort of. But now… now I get to do Phase 2 of my business. Reluctant Expansion. I said no, but was vetoed. [You stepped on a few toes, Greg.] “A few toes?” Is that what we’re calling an ambush followed by an unsanctioned audit? [Business isn’t personal.] Aha. And somehow I’m just supposed to run an entire Tradezone now? (You see what I did there?) I just wanted to pay my debt. Maybe earn a little extra without paying the tax man… but no. [Now you can earn a lot more than just “a little extra”.] Fantastic. Love that for me. Anna?! Let’s organise the next… ——— …installment of this series. I mean, it’s already underway now. Follow, as I, Sir Greg, continue on my journey to become the businessman I don’t want to be, but have to. The cozy comedy story of Dungeon-Core meets wolf of wallstreet. (Or whatever) What to expect: • chaotic start —> steady growth • strong character focus • long-term progression (the cozy kind) • modern knowledge vs fantasy problems • no stubbing(TWI style) What not to expect: • OP protagonist • harems • excessive gore Updates: Mondays—Wednesdays—Fridays.
