[Alert: The Vampire Progenitor System has been initialized.] To humanity, Arthur was born to bleed. A nameless peasant dragged across worlds, he was meant to serve as disposable meat—cannon fodder to be thrown into the jaws of the invading demon horde. But Arthur is done dying for a world that despises him. During the awakening, the world sees only a mediocre, second-rate talent. They think he is still weak. They think he can still be controlled. They are dead wrong. Hidden beneath a false identity lies an ancient, blood-starved terror. Empowered by a ruthless system that rewards slaughter, Arthur makes a vow sealed in iron and bone: protect the few he loves, and butcher anyone who stands in his way. The hierarchy of survival has just shattered. Gods, demons, and corrupt men alike are about to learn what happens when the prey becomes the apex predator. The Progenitor has awakened. Let the world drow n in blood.

Both levers trail the field
Traffic and conversion are both below comparable stories. Cadence is the first lever — stories posting near-daily reached 25 followers 17% of the time; stories posting every few days almost never did. Get the flow going, then re-check conversion.
Benchmarks: 8,060 active Royal Road stories, percentiles within the 20–49 chapters band, cohort of 2026-07-02. Conversion is measured as followers gained per 1,000 views over the recent window.
