Sixteen candles. One hidden truth. In the gleaming spires of Jannat ul Sayyada, Tha'ir Faris celebrates a birthday he was never meant to see. Surrounded by friends and fragile peace, he begins to believe he can outrun his past. But the Empire never forgets. When an old rebel’s dying words ignite a prophecy—"A light will rise from Nurazhar"—the flames of rebellion start spreading. As investigations close in on his true identity, Tha'ir must face the cost of his disguise, the weight of his mother’s sacrifice, and the friends who may never forgive his lies. In the shadows of the palace, the Empress sharpens her blade. Some embers are meant to die quietly. This one refuses to be extinguished. The war for the soul of Al-Mutaqahhira begins.
