Meet Bob, a man reincarnated as a ‘Lesser Mimic’ in the bowels of a seemingly endless Dungeon. One who must consume an ever-more-obscene amount of treasure in order to evolve his monstrous form… Investment Banker Robert Stadler was not a happy man. His wife was cheating on him. He’d stopped talking to his leech-like parents and siblings years ago. And his work life was filled with the kind of adversarial one-upmanship guaranteed to turn even the mildest mannered of men into a barely functioning sociopath. Luckily, during a drunken night grieving all-of-the-above, he is gifted the opportunity of a lifetime. A new start. One free from the trials and tribulations of his current existence. Unfortunately, this ‘gift’ is delivered via speeding box-truck. And is very clearly marked ‘non-refundable’. And - even more unfortunately - the ‘new start’ wasn’t as a human being. Now an ‘F-ranked’ monster trapped in an alien reality, Bob must do his best to survive a world where he is very much at the bottom of the food chain. And as the monetary demands of his species begin to grow continually more untenable, he comes to the conclusion that the best way to do that, is to teach the locals how to make their money work for them. It’s time to make way for the capitalist revolution… What to expect: - 2 Chapters weekly (Monday and Friday) - 2k words per chapter on average. Some slightly longer, some slightly shorter. - Slow-growth very weak to very strong MC - Monster evolutions. Classes. Skills. Traits. - No harem (or likely any romance for the MC at all, at least for the foreseeable future) - An adventure full of both light-hearted comedy as well as terror and existential dread
