cover credit to Wong40k THIS FICTION IS ONLY PUBLISHED ON ROYAL ROAD AND WATTPADIn an ever-growing Justice League, several junior operatives—commonly referred to as sidekicks—are grouped together largely for the sake of bureaucracy and record-keeping. Their personalities make cooperation anything but seamless. Robin, raised in an environment where control was scarce, attempts to assert authority wherever he can. Superboy and a trainee Green Lantern, both deeply resistant to being managed, push back at every opportunity. Kid Flash and Miss Martian work to keep morale intact, often acting as social glue, while Wonder Girl focuses on proving herself in a world that rarely makes space for her. This is a DCU Justice League fanfiction. What to expect:The story is told entirely through documents, reports, logs, and recovered records.Updates are planned for Tuesdays and Thursdays around 10 a.m. PST.Strong language is limited, and largely confined to one very temperamental character.Questionable ethics on the Justice League’s part—because, honestly, sidekicks as a concept are ethically messy.References to difficult backstories.Caring fathers, in various imperfect forms. What not to expect:A traditional, linear narrative told from a single point of view.Clear answers right away—some things are meant to surface slowly.Adults always being right, or institutions always behaving responsibly.Constant action or fight-to-fight pacing; this story lingers on aftermath, records, and quiet consequences.Characters being reduced to archetypes instead of complicated people.
