For the past seven decades, five heroes known as the Celestial Knights have used their magical powers to protect the world from increasingly threatening monsters appearing seemingly out of nowhere, passing down their powers to a new squad every few years. It has only ever been those five, but one day, a sixth magical warrior arrives on the scene. Is she friend or foe? The sixth warrior is Destiny Drake, whose powers were granted to her by a doll she found in the trash and decided to fix up on a whim. That choice will echo through the rest of her life and change everything. Can she gain the Knights' trust and prove to them that she's on their side? What does it mean to be chosen by Destiny itself? Can she figure out how to get a hold of her new powers in time for the coming disaster? How is our heroine going to handle suddenly being in the same group as her celebrity crush?
