When everything had stopped working, Lindsay found a notebook. Phones no longer work, computers are dead, and the internet is long gone. With no way to reach anyone and nothing left to distract herself, she begins writing things down instead. The people outside aren’t even people anymore. The world has been ending quietly without answers or explanation, leaving Lindsay to survive day by day in abandoned houses, empty streets, and unfamiliar silence as the days begin to blur together. Through messy and chaotic diary entries, Lindsay chronicles the struggles she faces and the small routines she clings to in order to keep track of things. All in an effort to stay normal as life as she knows it grows colder, quieter, and strangely red. Please don’t read it. Author’s Note: This is a slow-burn psychological horror told through a diary format.
