"An emotional roller coaster." In a world ravaged by war and chaos, where fate and free will collide, Pafe Tanamuse-a young outcast from the powerful Dragon Clan-embarks on a journey that will either lead him to unimaginable power or destroy him in its wake. Cursed from birth, Pafe is determined to unlock the ancient power of the dragons. But as he battles powerful enemies, ruthless kings, and his own dark thoughts, one question remains: Can he shape his own destiny, or is he doomed to be consumed by the shadows within? On the other side, opposing forces are gathering. The winds of darkness are threatening to engulf the entire world in fire. A power struggle in the kingdom of Akelon is dangerously spiraling out of control. Who will rise up on top? In the distant lands of the fire mountains, a new force led by a fire priestess with a seeming connection to the gods is on the rise. A prophecy that the world will be cleansed by fire is driving her to amass power. Will she carry the day? On the road, they will be met by a cast of characters. Some, like Faikel, will be thrust forward by destiny. Others, will come and go, swept away by greater forces. Some will seek glory, others only survival. Old grudges will resurface, alliances will be tested, and choices will be made in the shadow of the flame. The road ahead is treacherous, marked by omens and the whispers of forgotten gods. All is racing ahead to a final confrontation. No one is safe, and everything is in play. In a time where heroes rise and fall, the only certainty is death. FIRST DRAFT
