“A life with no struggle is a life with no substance. A life with no substance is a life with no beauty.” Jill was born a criminal. The "sinful" blood of her parents sentenced her to a life of labor in a dark cell. Her only comfort was Raphtalia, a fellow prisoner who dreamed of a world where the walls of the utopian City of Ionia fell, and outsiders finally knew peace. A tragic event caused Raphtalia to lose her life, and Jill is the only one left to carry that burden. Seeking guidance, Jill’s desperate journey to the House with Answers was meant to find a way forward. Instead, it ended in a bloodbath. After a brutal encounter with a SCAR agent—an Ionian military unit—Jill is left broken, and her body changed. She is injected with a conscious serum: a parasitic entity mirroring her image and feeding on her hatred to grant her the strength of a hundred soldiers. Jill must master the entity sharing her body before its hunger consumes her. She must decide how much of her humanity she’s willing to trade for the power to tear down the walls for her late friend.
