Marina Retali died the day after her fifteenth birthday. She knew what happened—she was murdered, and her body was tossed in a ditch to rot. She knew this the moment she awoke, reborn in the Underlands; the realm she knew as Hell. Only, "hell" was not quite what she thought it would be. She was neither the first, nor the last to suffer this fate, and she quickly becomes embroiled in the lives and struggles of Haven, a hidden village that is the only safe refuge within a smoke-covered land intent on making its inhabitants suffer. As countless questions fill her mind, there are only three things she knows for certain: her body has changed, tall black cliffs loom on the horizon in every direction, and most strange of all, that dark feathered wings have sprouted from her back. The only way she'll find answers is to keep moving forward; unknowingly setting off down the long, perilous journey of The Path To Daemonhood. Of course, there's one last thing she knows, something she keeps hidden from all, tucked away in the very back of her mind: This isn't the first time she's been reborn in another world. Whether she'll ever learn the truth of why this happened or not, is an answer only her fate will tell. ___ With three volumes complete and a fourth underway, there's plenty to binge read through!
