Niklas never planned on becoming a hero. Mostly, he planned on eventually sending out one of the job applications he still had sitting around. Then Earth was integrated into the System. Thrown into a survival tutorial with five thousand participants, Niklas begins as a simple Caster and quickly discovers that skills are less like fixed rules and more like tools. Between magic, smithing, and fights where mistakes can have permanent consequences, he begins to shape a path of his own. What starts as an improvised struggle for survival leads him, step by step, toward something far beyond ordinary magic—the Path of the Black Sun. A fanfiction set in the universe of The Primal Hunter by Zogarth. The story follows an original protagonist and runs parallel to the events and world of the original.
