Never-ending dance

Never-ending dance

by Biljana Biba

ApocalypseFemale LeadHorrorShort Story

The world is slowly but continually ravaged by strange new disease that turns people into strange vampire-like creatures. No one really knows what is happening, and what disease actually does to people, because there is quite a little information in media and all the videos taken about the diseased people are rare and blurry and it's difficult to say what is happening on them or are they even real or manufactured. Milena is living dull life with her partner Will, trying to navigate her life and forget about her past love, while slowly sinking into depression and deciding, against better judgement, to go outside when there is obvious danger awaiting. She will meet the disease and it's not what anyone would expect.
