The God of Light has died three times. The empire still has to hold the line. Vuong Khang remembers a life on Earth, but he brought no system or miraculous power into this world. After eight years at the Imperial Knight Academy, his first assignment takes him to a northern village near the Deadlands. Beyond its walls, corrupted beasts multiply and wild mages seek the Evil Gods. His first battles teach him that courage alone cannot keep people alive. He must learn when to charge, when to retreat, and how to lead others through both. Then he discovers a dull gray stone that resists magic. If he can find its source, he may be able to build a territory and an army strong enough to face the war ahead. The Holy Knight is a progression fantasy about cavalry charges, building a frontier domain, and an empire fighting to survive against the Evil Gods.
