Integration Day gave the world combat classes. Eli Wren got Administrator — a retired class from an older System, good for one thing: revising a single rule of a dungeon, monster, or settlement each day. Every revision becomes permanent law. Every law creates a loophole. Every loophole is being read by someone who wants his city dead. The System is about to delete every settlement that fails its census quota — including the seven hundred survivors huddled in one old town hall, where Eli's sister is running out of oxygen and the monsters have learned to read the fine print. He cannot fight. He cannot heal. He can only write — one risky, permanent, loophole-riddled law a day — and build a city that the System itself is forced to respect. One Rule a Day. Every Rule Becomes Law. Every Law Casts a Shadow. System Apocalypse. Progression Fantasy. A city built on fine print.
