ARMAGEDDON The world has never been free of monsters. For centuries, humanity has fought strange entities that defy the laws of nature—beasts that should not exist, abominations born in places where reality itself has begun to decay, and beings so ancient and powerful that entire regions become death zones beneath their influence. Humanity survived. But survival was never the same as victory. Now, something is changing. Across the world, unexplained disturbances are appearing. Reality itself seems to ripple around certain entities, and things that were once confined to the darkest corners of the world are beginning to influence humanity once again. At an isolated research facility buried beneath a frozen island, nineteen-year-old researcher Adam has spent months studying one such anomaly. An entity classified as an Abomination. The researchers call it the Demon of Thought. It has no body. No flesh. No bones. Nothing that can be restrained or killed. Yet it can interfere with perception, distort what people hear and see, manipulate the way they interpret reality, and possibly influence thought itself. Adam knows more about the Demon than almost anyone alive. And that knowledge has taught him one terrifying lesson: You cannot fight an enemy when you can no longer trust your own senses. Then Aria, a twenty-one-year-old detective known as The Pathfinder, arrives at the facility to investigate a mysterious incident. Aria possesses an extraordinary talent for reconstructing crime scenes in her mind, piecing together events from the smallest details. She expects a case that can be solved through evidence. Instead, she finds a mystery where the evidence itself may be lying. Doors appear where there should be walls. Footsteps echo where nobody walked. People remember events that never happened. And sometimes, two people can stand in the same room— and see completely different worlds. As Adam and Aria begin investigating together, they uncover something far more disturbing than a single escaped entity. The creatures humanity has classified, studied, fought, and feared may be only fragments of a much larger truth. Some entities are born. Some evolve. Some are older than civilization. And some may be things humanity was never meant to understand. From forgotten lands and death zones to the depths of the ocean, the frozen reaches of Antarctica, and eventually the vastness of space, Adam and Aria will be drawn deeper into a world where the boundary between reality and impossibility continues to collapse. Because the greatest threat may not be the monsters humanity has discovered. It may be what is still waiting to be discovered. And when humanity finally learns the truth— the world may already be beyond saving.
