The Lost Promethean

Decades after children around the world awoke with powers far beyond their control the world is in a state of war. These superpowered humans were given the name Prometheans. Every faction, nation and criminal underground seeks this power in their own ways. Aurora Bellvin is a runaway promethean who fears her own power. She ran away from the Brooklyn Government Orphanage two years before, living on the streets in an attempt to hide away from her destructive abilities, only using her powers to help those in need. This is until she is convinced to try to sabotage a known mafia warehouse rumored to house weapons they were using to arm rebellions. However Aurora discovers something far beyond what she was expecting, a promethean ring and a family she never knew she had. But this is nothing Aurora ever wanted to be a part of, she just wanted a normal life away from the chaos of war.  Ketos Delphi is the heir apparent of the Lukas mafia. His unique powers helped him climb the ranks of the free for all to replace the ruthless leader. His only appointment is a ghost, a story of the missing daughter of the Lukas family. The sole daughter of the leader all of New York fears. Taken from her mothers arms after her power consumed her. But that was not going to stop Ketos who knew that she fell off the map two years ago, presumably dead. This was until he got a tip about an attack on the warehouse and discovered that his route to power was not simple as he once pictured. Now he has to protect the one person who can ruin his avenue for power.  Together Ketos and Aurora must learn to compromise and trust each other, as forces in this war for power and control strike down at their very own livelihoods and freedoms.
