Five hundred years ago, five heroes came together and ended a thousand-year war between the gods. Soon after, a prophecy foretold that every hundred years, those same heroes would be reborn to save the world once more. Now, five hundred years later, Lucy, a boy who has been told his entire life that he is one of those reincarnated heroes, sets out with his friends in hopes of making a name for themselves, discovering the truth behind the prophecy, and, if the legends are true, saving everyone. But with ancient powers beginning to stir and the past refusing to stay buried, Lucy may soon discover that being a hero isn’t quite what the stories promised.
