Roofless

Naisha is a pampered school worker from Miami who recently discovered that her brother has run off to Maladh, a city for the homeless. Desperate to prove her love for her family and keep them from falling apart, she ventures into the city alone, determined to bring her brother back home. But when every corner of Maladh is filled with stalkers, junkies, and aggressive maniacs, Naisha quickly realizes she can't survive on her own. Forced to rely on the very people she fears, she must confront her prejudices, correct the mistakes of her past, and prove to her mother—and herself—that she's capable of becoming the woman her family needs.
