Born Beneath The Gods

Aeris Veymont dreams of becoming a Knight and protecting Rakkor from the Garvoks beyond its walls. But when a nearby village falls, creatures thought to be mindless begin speaking, commanding armies, and learning from the humans sent to kill them. With forbidden mountains looming above Rakkor and questions beginning to surface about the world he was raised to believe in, Aeris starts climbing toward something far greater than Knighthood. Knighthood is only the beginning. He was born beneath the gods. He never planned to stay beneath them.
