Seventeen-year-old Raymond is certain Alicia is the love of his life. So when she ends their relationship on New Year’s Eve, he refuses to believe her feelings simply changed. Desperate for answers, he drives to her house against her wishes. He never makes it there. After Raymond dies in a car accident, the story rewinds to the beginning of December, when their relationship still appears intact. Over the next few weeks, jealousy, secrets, betrayal, and one increasingly dangerous lie begin pulling everything apart.
