Flock of Many Feathers

A misplaced wish leads to two disparate people meeting in a dark cave, but when they see each other they don’t fit each other’s idea of ‘people’.One is Mason Hill, a listless young man whose actions have left him scared and caged. The other is Rruv, an isolated Uru who is lucky to have only become slightly unhinged in their years alone.  Both wish to understand each other; Mason has words, and Rruv has thrums. One of them lacks feathers; the other lacks thumbs. They will have to learn to learn, because they both know how awful it is to face the world alone. Two disoriented, desperate people attempt to learn how to build a life together. Small things build this life; small things risk tearing it down: day-to-day necessities, sharing space, talking with words, and talking with actions. Mason seeks to learn this new world. Rruv seeks to fill the world’s long silence. Neither knows what they will make together.Updates expected once or twice a month.
