Ankith, a brilliant but impoverished orphan, earns a scholarship to the prestigious St. Louis school, where he quickly befriends a quiet, observant student named Ankush. Principal Louis swiftly covers up the disappearance by announcing Ankith won a sudden scholarship to France, but Ankush immediately suspects foul play. The truth refuses to stay buried. Ankith’s vengeful spirit begins to haunt Ankush, manifesting as a freezing, crushing weight on his back. The haunting culminates at the annual Parent-Teacher Meeting, where Ankith’s towering, shadowy ghost locks the doors and forces the terrified crowd to witness the truth. The ghost reveals that while David was the bait, it was Principal Louis who actually murdered Ankith, and Ankush unknowingly helped burn the evidence. The grim revelation forces the parents to confront the lethal consequences of their toxic academic pressure. Principal Louis is arrested for murder, and a traumatized David is placed in psychiatric care. Weeks later, Ankith’s spirit visits a deeply depressed Ankush one last time. Appearing as the peaceful boy he once was, Ankith thanks Ankush for his friendship, urges him to live a happy life for the both of them, and leaves with a final, chilling promise: he will always be watching from the shadows to protect him.
