Although killing a monster doesn't work in a strange universe like this. Nothing plays by the normal rules.
Every aberrant is guided by a law. To defeat one, you must understand it's law and utilize that law against the creature itself.
Make a sound and you die. Kill the wrong creature and it multiplies. Learning a monster's Bizarre Law before it kills you matters more than being strong.
As for Jeri, he has no legendary bloodline. He doesn't posses the heart of a hero, he is just a reckless mouthed roaster, has a talent for improvisation and adapting during extreme pressure , and a body that refuses to stay dead.
But surviving the trial is only the entry fee.
