Raku’s Revenge

Raku died in a healing pool beneath thirteen sealed thrones. The woman he loved and the god he had saved drove his own sword, Osiris, into his heart while the court watched from behind locked doors. Osiris broke before it could destroy him. Raku woke as a child on a hidden tropical island, his memories intact and his divine strength gone. In this new world, everyone bears a Gift. His answers to something wider: stone, metal, water, and the pressure around them. Living bodies remain beyond his reach, and even a god reborn must learn the limits of a mortal hand. Kiri, a bright-eyed mantis with blades folded beneath her affection, chooses to stand beside him. As Raku grows, the pieces of Osiris, a threatened island, and the people who gave him a second life pull him into a widening world. He remembers the names behind heaven's doors. He will rebuild his power, restore his sword, and return to break the gates that kept the truth inside.
