Ruth Harrow quit the job she'd had for six years without much of a plan for what came next. Then the 11:40 bus took her somewhere it had never gone before. Vesper is an old town of gaslit streets, strange rules, and people who have learned not to ask certain questions. Nothing is quite where it should be, everyone seems to know more than they're willing to say, and leaving may not be as simple as finding the way out. Ruth has spent years doing what was sensible. Vesper is going to make that difficult. The Vesper Ledger is a complete 15-chapter supernatural mystery about a woman who walks into a town that shouldn't exist and discovers that some places have rules of their own.
