A stealth mission in Hexapolis lasts about as long as it takes Edgar to shout his own name. After the golden golem blows the team’s cover, Astrid and her friends flee through a city where wishes have fine print, balloon animals cause traffic jams, and every attempt to fix a problem creates a stranger one. Their search for a pill that promises instant genius leads them through a spectacular misunderstanding and into a pharmacy with an impossible price tag. Then the pills work. Edgar becomes a brilliant puncher, Edgaursine the balloon dog discovers Muay Thai, and Miriam starts building androids. The Balloonatics have never been smarter.
