An eight-year-old boy. A discarded book. A phone. And a world far larger than he ever imagined. Alcric is an ordinary boy growing up in the remote Greenlandic settlement of Ittoqqortoormiit. His family has little. Electricity is unreliable. Money is limited. Most things have to be earned, repaired, found, or made. Then Alcric discovers a pile of discarded books. Inside them, he finds something more valuable than money: knowledge. Technology. Science. Business. Engineering. Education. For the first time, Alcric realizes how much of the world exists beyond his small home. He begins learning. He experiments. He fails. He tries again. Eventually, a phone connects him to the internet, where he discovers educational resources, AI, and the wider world. He begins recording his life in Greenland, and what starts as a simple hobby slowly attracts an audience. His channel grows. His family's circumstances improve. And then an unexpected invitation arrives. Ming Do. A new academy combining academic education, martial arts, philosophy, and practical development. Alcric doesn't immediately trust the offer. He investigates the academy, researches the recruiter, discusses it with his parents, and eventually agrees to meet them. He thinks he's simply accepting an opportunity to study. He doesn't realize that Ming Do will challenge almost everything he thinks he understands. Because knowing something is not the same as being capable of doing it. To become great, Alcric will have to learn through experience. He will fail. He will struggle. He will meet people stronger, faster, smarter, and more experienced than himself. And he will discover that being talented is only the beginning. This is the story of Alcric's journey to become the greatest student of Ming Do.
