In a world where power flows through the blood — where Hunters wield Fire, Wind, Water, and force alike to fight the monsters pouring out of the Gates — Adi has nothing. No elemental affinity. No magic. Nothing but a sword, and the discipline to master it anyway. It should have been enough to keep him ordinary. Instead, a locket from the father he never knew wakes something inside him no one can explain — a flame that burns blue instead of any known color, eyes that see what shouldn't be visible, and a presence that something ancient, and patient, has been waiting a very long time to find. The Guilds call him talentless. The Gates are starting to disagree. But the deeper Adi goes, the clearer it becomes: the locket isn't just protecting him. It's connected to something far larger than he understands — and somewhere, something has been waiting for that connection to matter.
