The Fastest Way Out

Robert Valmarch left the comfort of his home and became an adventurer, intending to make his own fortune among the as-yet-unexploited ruins of an ancient civilization of the giants.  A son of the noble house of Valmarch is expected to be strong, and stoic.  What he did not plan for, was that his nurse, Selane Greyfold, would organize a household of staff and guards, which he would then be responsible for supporting.  He left his home without his parent’s permission, and he cannot rely on the house accounts to support his undertaking.  He has to profit.
