“Nobody understands necromancy better than I do. Only I can make necromancy great again. MNGA!”
“I have a dream: to become the first gangstar of necromancy.”
“Dragons are merely pitiful souls shackled by gravity. Add a propeller, and they become three times faster.”
William wakes up in another world with no memory of who he was.
He does, however, remember medicine.
So naturally, he becomes a necromancer.
Soon he is applying sterile technique to corpse handling, treating negative-energy exposure like occupational disease, reverse-engineering spells through clinical reasoning, and asking increasingly irresponsible questions about what technically counts as “alive.”
The Church eventually issues a notice:
WANTED: William, notorious necromancer.Charges include desecration, illegal experimentation, disregard for life, and introducing aseptic technique to necromancy—thereby saving numerous lives.
...Wait.
