# The Novel Was Never Fiction Rayme had always been fascinated by a novel called *Conquer the Universe*. It was a story about a young protagonist who would rise from obscurity, overcome countless enemies, seize opportunities that seemed impossible, and eventually stand at the summit of the universe. Rayme knew the story almost by heart. He knew its characters. He knew its hidden opportunities. He knew many of the events that were supposed to happen. Then Rayme died. When he opened his eyes again, he was no longer on Earth. He had become **Kael Pendragon**, a five-year-old child born into one of the most mysterious families in the world. At first, Kael believes he has been given the greatest advantage imaginable. He knows the future. He knows where treasures will appear, which events will change the world, and which people will eventually become important. More importantly, he possesses something that the original story never gave its protagonist: **knowledge of the plot.** But there is one problem. The world isn't behaving exactly as he remembers. People who should have acted differently are making unfamiliar choices. Events are changing. Opportunities are appearing too early—or disappearing completely. And sometimes, Kael senses something watching from beyond the boundaries of reality. Then the **System** appears. Alongside it come mysterious spirits, strange supernatural phenomena, and invisible forces that seem connected to something Kael cannot understand. **Destiny.** Kael initially believes the System is his greatest advantage. He is wrong. The deeper he investigates, the more contradictions he discovers. His reincarnation may not have been an accident. His mother's disappearance after his birth may not have been a tragedy. The strange changes surrounding him may not be caused by his actions alone. And the Pendragon family—the family he was born into—may be hiding a history far older and more terrifying than he could have imagined. There are beings in the universe who know the Pendragan name. There are secrets even the strongest civilizations have never discovered. And somewhere beyond the visible world exist powers capable of manipulating the very threads of **Destiny**. Kael thought he had been reincarnated into a novel. He thought he knew the story. He thought he was changing fate. But what if the story he remembers was never the real story? What if his reincarnation was part of a plan? What if someone had been waiting for him long before Rayme ever died? And what if **Destiny itself has a purpose for Kael Pendragon?** The more Kael tries to escape the fate written for him, the closer he comes to discovering the truth: **The novel was never fiction.** **It was only the beginning.**
