After learning the forbidden wish-making ritual, Zorn makes a wish by the stream; the star that hears it marks him. Thrust into Varnaiya, a hostile world where "Star Curses" are hunted and kings bow to the Red Saints' laws, Zorn is marked by the star Antares after wishing upon a star. He loses his only friend and finds hope in the Fae Star Guild, outcasts fighting for freedom. But an alliance isn't enough to survive. With odds against him, Zorn must unlock his true power, given by a wish, and become an Archdemon to lead the rebellion and shatter the divided heavens.
