After a home invasion gone wrong, Alexander Webb is transported into the world of his favorite VRMMORPG, Lockwood Online, but the game has changed since he last logged in. The rogue class has been outlawed. Stealing, lockpicking, and pickpocketing are punishable by death, and his secret identity, The Spider, has been executed by the Five Monarchs. At first, Alex is determined to live a simple life and retire in his favorite fantasy game, but Alex is quickly swept up into a world of conspiracy, assassination attempts, and a maniacal plan perpetuated by Duke Feathermane. Yagros has been waiting for The Spiders' return, but will Alex reveal himself, risking death, or choose to remain hidden?
