Calder Voss made his living deciding which dungeons were valuable—and which were condemned. Then he discovered something inside Greymarrow Dungeon that the Adventurers’ Guild never intended him to see. They murdered him for it. Calder awakens inside the same doomed dungeon as a [Lesser Wooden Mimic — Level 1]. Mimics have officially been extinct for more than a century. He has no conventional limbs, only three active property slots, and thirty days before the Guild demolishes Greymarrow and takes its dying heart. His only advantage is [Claim Property]. By completely consuming a nonliving object or crystallized monster core, Calder can permanently learn one of its properties: a sword’s sharpness, a shield’s reinforcement, a potion’s regeneration, or a key’s ward passage. Every choice destroys the original item, and incompatible properties can deform his body—or push his mind toward something feral. To survive, Calder must use his appraiser’s knowledge to rebuild a stripped dungeon, protect its abandoned monsters, and turn discarded salvage into earned evolution. But the deeper he repairs Greymarrow, the clearer the truth becomes: his murder, the extermination of mimics, and the Guild’s condemned dungeons are all connected. The Guild has thirty days to take Greymarrow’s heart. Calder has thirty days to make the dungeon fight back. Intelligent weak-to-strong progression, monster evolution, dungeon restoration, crafting, strategic victories, mystery, and found family. No harem. No forced romance.
