All I had once known was darkness. A bitter cold, and an empty void. It was my home. Yet to my dismay, it was stolen from me. In its place, I was given a new life — a life as a human. Surrounded by such beings, I came to understand kindness, joy, even love. But the truth behind their actions became clear to me soon enough. Humans were nothing I needed to understand. They were simply beings meant to serve my purpose... if I truly wished to become king.
