Within the eyes of humanity lies the power to reshape elements of reality at the cost of inflicting mental strain, reducing their lifespan, and, eventually, eroding their souls. The twin princes of the Vaelix Empire, Keiren and Teiren, lead an expedition into a treacherous tower in search of a cure, only to emerge three hundred years later. The world they knew, now ruined, has rewritten their history as a holy myth. As they uncover the lies beneath the new age, they realize their survival may be no accident and that something older than gods has begun moving through them. In a land built on inherited sin, their repentance may save the world or break it completely.
