Two thousand years ago, the gods poisoned the world with Mana. Ninety-six percent of humanity died. The survivors evolved. And Park Minsung—the strongest warrior to ever live—slew the Beast King, only to be butchered by the very people he bled to protect. Two thousand years later, humanity has built an empire on his legacy. Magic powers their cities, their transportation, and their war machines. But the new Park Minsung is anything but a legend. He is a penniless, manaless orphan, bullied at an elite academy, and pushed past his limit when loan sharks murder his sister. When Minsung jumps from his school roof to end it all, death refuses to take him. Instead, two millennia of dormant memory, ancient combat instincts, and a divine soul resonance ignite inside his chest. Awakening a system skill that shouldn't exist, he steps out of the hospital with a clean slate and a flat, settled certainty: he isn't the boy who jumped anymore. The gods threw away the world for their own entertainment. It’s time to remind them why they feared the Beast King’s Bane.
