At eighteen, everyone awakens. Kellan Vey didn't. No Class. No Level. No Skills. No Stats. With a System Compatibility of 0%, his Awakening is declared a complete failure. By the time he returns home, the world has already moved on without him. Then the lights go out. A System appears in his dark apartment—one that shouldn't exist. It searches for his Player Identity. And rejects it. Then it gives him a number he can't explain. Previous Death Count: 17. Kellan has no memory of dying. As far as he knows, he's lived only one life. Before he can understand what it means, a hidden quest appears. DEATH COUNT: 18 Objective: Survive until sunrise. Then something starts scratching at his bedroom door. A Level 3 creature enters his apartment—faceless, unnatural, and far beyond anything Kellan should be able to fight. He has no Class. No Skills. No weapon. Only a strange System that refuses to explain itself, and six hours until sunrise. Kellan's first goal is simple: Stay alive. But if the System is telling the truth, his story didn't begin tonight. He has already died seventeen times. And somehow, he remembers none of them.
