"Dante" is a company manager under "Limbus Company" who was set on a trip around the city to look and obtain the elusive golden bough and strengthening each sinner by overcoming and letting go of their past, "Dante" has to bear the responsibility of taking care of these sinners, is what it would have been if not for one particular moment that left Dante "stuck" trapped in a state where time ceases to function as before and forcing Dante to uncover the mystery behind why everything suddenly stop moving.
