Pokemon: The Evolved World

For many people, watching the Pokémon anime was a part of their childhood, and many children at that time, have imagined how it feels like living in that world of magical animals and go on adventures, to become the very best. But having grown up, they now have realized how dangerous it is living in that world, thankfully, they live in a world that is only dominated by the humans as the apex predators. Unfortunately, their childhood wishes came true, whether the world had agreed to it or not. A beam of light had risen from Japan, opening the world into a new age, the age of Pokémon, dubbing it as the ‘Light event’ All it took for the humans coexist with the Pokémon, was the death of millions of the population and the downfall of many countries. Countries that were capable of forming leagues, risen from the ashes of their sacrifices, men and women became trainers to fulfil their dreams of glory and friendship across the planet, one step at the time. Although, not all of the world had been welcoming to this change of order, Egypt, was the last country to establish a league of its own, and the people of the land couldn’t have disagreed more to this action, families glare at their loved ones that welcomed them into their lives, neighbors shutting the doors to the faces of others, even the ones that call themselves trainers, can’t stomach the idea of welcoming the Pokémon with the prospect of family and friendship between the two races. One man comes into the fold of things, stripped off his future by the ‘Light event’, owning nothing but his small knowledge of Pokémon, is yet to determine his own position in the equation, whether he welcomes them, rejects them, trying to hold order of the true races, or let all chaos unfold around him while chasing his own agenda.
