Mistwood: A Cozy New Life

When Nash makes a deal with a spatial spirit to be taken to another world and start life anew, he receives exactly what he hopes for. A piece of land to turn into a cozy homestead, the ability to fight monsters whenever he wishes without any real danger to his home, and new friends and family. The local magicians are friendly, the few villagers in the area are willing to trade and help him out when he needs it, and the spirits there are as goofy as the ones back on Earth. Posting Schedule: Tuesdays and Fridays (first two weeks: Monday through Friday). Important Notes: 1) The tags on this fiction were each selected for a reason. This is a cozy, slice-of-life fiction. Don't expect much in the way of action, danger, drama, politics threats, etc. Nash possesses the ability to go fight monsters if he wishes, but don't expect drawn out or detailed combat scenes, nor high stakes. 2) Yes, it is both Progression and Strong Lead (OP). Nash still has to put in the effort, but he's able to go beyond what ordinary people may by doing so (essentially, limit breaks). 3) There will be detailed/explicit sex scenes of an unknown frequency (anywhere from frequent to occasional); however, it will remain within the amount allowed by Royal Road and not be more than 5% of the total wordcount of the story. It is also not a poly relationship - Nash will be in a relationship with only one person at a time. This is a full rewrite of Mistwood, one of my previously-completed stories. I was unhappy with it ending so quickly but it felt better to end it there when I did. Part of that came from how quickly Rowan regained his former power. There are many changes between the two series - including the main character being different - which I hope means I can give more to the story and let it last longer. You are able to read Mistwood without spoiling this one, for the most part. The only big spoiler you would get from reading that one is who Nash will end up marrying. That said, if you've read Mistwood or choose to read it, please remember that this is a rewrite. Some/many details have been changed.
