An Elarune Tale Mimi has spent most of her life believing that Elarune was nothing more than a childhood dream—a strange place she barely remembers, filled with impossible forests, talking creatures, and a Queen whose face she can no longer picture. Then, one rainy night, a mysterious blue door appears inside her bedroom. On the other side is Elarune. Waiting for her is Corvin, a sharp-tongued lutino bird with golden feathers, red eyes, and far too many secrets. He insists Mimi has been to Elarune before, but someone deliberately erased her memories. Now the realm is falling apart, the Queen is searching for her, and Corvin claims Mimi is the only person who can save them. But the deeper Mimi travels into Elarune, the more things begin to feel wrong. People recognize her. Places remember her. And fragments of a forgotten past keep surfacing—fragments that suggest Mimi wasn't brought to Elarune to save it. She was brought back because of what she did the first time she was there. As Mimi begins uncovering the truth, she learns that the Queen isn't the monster everyone claims she is. The people she trusted have been hiding pieces of her past, and Corvin—the one creature who promised to guide her through Elarune—may have been part of the betrayal from the beginning. Now Mimi has to decide what is more frightening: Discovering that the people she trusted betrayed her... or discovering why they believed she deserved to be betrayed. Because Mimi didn't fall into Elarune twice. The second time, Elarune called her back.
