When Earth was wrapped by a colossal root of the World Tree, a portal appeared at the tip of that root. It led to a massive fantasy world filled with monsters, stats, and skills. As people began venturing into this new world, some returned with abilities beyond what ordinary humans could achieve. Those who gained these abilities became known as Wanderers. The rise of the Wanderers changed the world. Old records of human achievement were rewritten. New standards of strength emerged. And the gap between those with abilities and those without them only continued to grow. Luke Uesugi was once called the strongest swordsman on Earth. The youngest in history to become an undefeated world champion across every sword style—fencing, kendo, and everything in between. But by then, nobody cared. Traditional competitions had become meaningless. His achievements were mocked. Then a Rogue Wanderer defeated him. “Greatest swordsman my ass.” Luke vanished from the spotlight. A year later, he enters the World Tree to reclaim his title. Only to find a sword he can't swing. “…This shiii is garbage.” [The sword has been bound.] [Due to ***’s Passive Skill, you cannot wield another weapon.] “…What in the actual FUUG?!” Now stuck with a cursed sword he cannot swing, replace, or escape, Luke has to figure out how to fight his way through a world full of people with Skills. Can he reclaim the title of strongest swordsman?
