Camille Bouchard has a secret: inherited through generations of her family, she can transform at will into an armless, snakelike creature. Most of the time, her human form is more practical for life in Montréal, but whenever she escapes into the wilderness, she embraces the freedom of her other shape. During a weekend in the Laurentians, Camille hears a cry for help and discovers an injured hiker in trouble. What follows forces her to choose between protecting her family's secret and using the unusual abilities she has been given. Sometimes, doing the right thing means being seen.
