What happens when a boy discovers he can make his puppets truly alive? Nine just wants to survive. He just wants to protect the ones he cares about. Unfortunately, he is now living in a grim, dangerous world filled with strange monsters, evil spirits, and ruthless ruin explorers Unfortunately, the only background he can depend on is just the memory of an Earth's struggling stage performer. And, the only companions he can rely on aren't great heroes or powerful monsters. Instead they're... puppets. The talking puppets that turn alive because of him. The ventriloquist's sprites. The... Vesprites. That power is his greatest advantage. He is the only one who can create vesprites. ... However, he isn't the only one who can turn non-living objects alive.
