I’m Ling San, an intern forensic pathologist. I used to think the dead were the only things I had to deal with. Then I had a dream within a dream. When I woke up, a strange goldfish had appeared in my dreams. It could speak. It could predict the future. And it seemed to know exactly how the world would end. After that, the nightmares began to leak into reality. A doll filled with rotting flesh worshipped as god. A bed made from fused human bones. Hundreds of people burning themselves alive at the same time. A phenomenon in which the sun refuses to set. Every case is impossible. Every nightmare is coming true. And the deeper I investigate, the more I realize that these incidents are not isolated. Something is changing the world. Something that has already happened. Then the truth finally reveals itself: This is a world where every wish can come true. Some people are waiting patiently for the world to die. Some worship a Mother Goddess, hoping to preserve what remains of humanity. Some throw themselves into reincarnation, abandoning morality and surrendering to endless cycles of violence and desire. Others protect the last spark of civilization, determined to build a new world from the ashes. Some believe everything has already been predetermined. And some are still fighting the cycle itself. Everyone has an answer. Everyone believes they are right. Truth and lies become impossible to distinguish. Good and evil begin to lose their meaning. As for me? I’m only a forensic pathologist. I don’t decide who is right. I examine the dead. But if the old world has already died... then what will I find when I perform an autopsy on its magnificent corpse?
