For fifty years, Arthur Vance has lived with a sound no one else can hear.
At seventy-two, the former soldier has withdrawn from the world, choosing a quiet life in a forgotten town in the Pacific Northwest. He repairs old clocks, walks the same roads every morning, and keeps his past buried behind a door he refuses to open.
Then something changes.
A bridge develops a fracture that shouldn't be possible. Machines begin failing without explanation. Arthur's lifelong tinnitus starts behaving differently.
And for the first time in decades, he begins to wonder whether the sound inside his head was ever really a symptom.
Because Arthur is discovering that everything around him is vibrating.
And somehow, he can hear it.
What begins as a private mystery slowly becomes something far more dangerous—one that could draw the attention of people who would rather study Arthur than understand him.
As the boundaries between science, memory, and something impossible begin to collapse, Arthur must confront a question he has spent his entire life avoiding:
What if the thing he thought had ruined his life was actually preparing him for what comes next?
RESONANCE is a slow-burning science-fiction thriller about isolation, grief, aging, human connection, and the terrifying consequences of discovering that the world is not as solid as we believe.
