Those Who Come Back

Those Who Come Back is a Naruto fanfiction about found family, loyalty, and sacrifice. Akari is twelve, a recent graduate of the Academy, and not very good at controlling her wind release. She is placed on a team with Kazuki Arakawa, who has a talent for making bad ideas worse, Renji Mori, a ten-year-old prodigy who is still very much ten, and Reina Takamori, a jōnin sensei who slowly becomes more than their instructor. The story follows them as they grow into a team, then into a family.
